The taste of milk skim or does not affect diabetes.
The taste of milk and unless she has allergies regular milk skim or does not affect diabetes.

There are other sources of calcium in the diet (a dietition or a dietetic food website will have lists of foods - broccoli I believe is one).
Over-the-counter vitamin and mineral supplements (especially the less expensive brands) often have the wrong kind of calcium for proper body absorbtion. Your doctor should be able to recommend or prescribe a quality brand, and/or start her on a medication specifically for osteoporosis (like boniva).
