		<description>If she is that painful then she probably needs the Hip Replacement.  As far as activity goes, that is up to her.  Whatever makes her feel the best.  It's not like a soft tissue injury that keeping it moving makes it feel better.  In your Mom's case the bone itself is deteriorating.
Pain medications and anti-inflamatory meds are her friend - "Better living through modern chemistry)
