So I am on shots to help boost my calcium levels and bone density and have an IUD but if that IUD fails I would be faced with another abortion because my body (so says my doctor and midwife) cannot handle another pregnancy.

There are tons of valid reason for an abortion, so why am I being judged?

Is it so wrong that my husband and I are choosing to protect my life?

People have told me that what I am doing is premeditated murder, knowing that I would get an abortion if I were to get pregnant (despite an IUD - 99% effective). This is not murder, this is protecting my body from harm. Maybe other women would choose to keep the pregnancy and accept the harm to their body, I am unwilling to. My husband feels the same way, he is not willing to risk my health for another baby.

So what gives?
Thanks eVentus and Flick - I just can’t stand being called a murderer when I am protecting my own life.
A previous pregnancy of mine was ectopic, so I have had the medically necessary abortion that’s one reason I have the opinion that I do.
Also I feel it would be irresponsible to leave my husband with children I know he cannot take care of by himself.
